Pup Update

Recommended Posts

Hey, not sure if many of you will remember, i got a pup who's last owner had been to hard on him, when i got him he was hiding behind the curtain and petrified of people.
You all said it would be time and patience.

Well, its paying off, he loves attention now and his recall is really improving.

The biggest change happened when i brought a drag lure, he soon associated being held by the collar with him getting to run. It has pretty much dissolved his fear and he is getting better and better by the day, Im even going to enter him in the races this saturday at the game fair.

He's going to be a bloody good dog, im keeping him fit through the summer with the drag lure so by time season comes around he should have easy pickings on this years young and hopefully boost his confidence more!
He's a little rocket!
He's the brindle pup in the picture

Well me and my mate decided to take the pup out for a mooch, ferreted a couple of small warrens just to see how he's getting along. He has made a 100% improvement. He is coming on recall, he is watching the warrens and he has caught rabbits. Bit more fitness with the drag lure and it looks like I'll be having a great season. He's like a different dog and I'm over the moon. He seems to know his job and he's a happy dog now. Couldn't be happier
